Queen designs and installs structured data networks and internal PBX (central) phone systems for offices, companies and buildings. Reliable connectivity and internal extensions that boost productivity and communication.
Yes, we install internal PBX systems with the number of extensions you need.
Cameras, access control, intercom, attendance and phones all ride on the same network. When that network is built badly every one of those systems inherits the fault — and the symptoms look like device problems, which is why so much money gets spent replacing hardware that was never broken. We treat the network as the foundation of the whole security installation rather than as an accessory to it.
Cable is the cheapest component to buy and the most expensive to change, because changing it means opening finished walls. We use Cat6 with genuine copper conductors; copper-clad aluminium is the most common false economy in the market and shows up later as PoE cameras rebooting at random once the run gets long. We respect the 100-metre limit per run — beyond it the answer is fibre or an intermediate cabinet, not a longer cable and optimism.
Cameras generate continuous heavy traffic. Putting them on the same flat network as office computers slows both and makes the security system reachable from any compromised PC. We put cameras and security devices on a separate VLAN — or a physically separate switch — as standard.
A traditional analogue exchange gives extensions and internal calls and little more. An IP PBX runs on the same network and adds what companies actually ask us for: an IVR menu that routes callers, call recording for quality and disputes, reports on call volume and missed calls, extensions that work from home or a mobile app, and CRM integration so the customer's record opens as the phone rings.
The network is a single point of failure for everything above it. We fit a UPS on the rack, recommend a spare switch on the shelf, and hand over a saved copy of every device configuration along with a written list of addresses and passwords — kept somewhere other than a technician's phone.
Offices and company headquarters, factories and warehouses, hospitals and clinics, hotels, schools and universities, call centres, and multi-branch businesses linking sites onto one phone system.
Yes — an IP PBX works alongside your existing lines, and extensions can be added without changing your published numbers.
Cat5e still works for many cases, but the labour cost of pulling cable is identical either way. The cable is the cheap part of the job, so we specify Cat6.
Yes. We start by documenting what is there, labelling it, and fixing what fails first — usually the PoE budget and the absence of any configuration backup.
